Our sneak peek this week is the unobvious Economy Shop find...the unapparent....the unnoticeable..the chair hidden in the dark corner...here is one of their stories.
I have shuffled, moved and relocated this interesting but sad and ripped chair in the warehouse week after week. And week after week it went untouched and un-bought. (Ok, someone liked it, but not sure my cat counts.) As I picked it up one last time, mumbling (mostly to myself) about what great lines it had in the ever popular mid-century kind of way, I decided to take it home and redesign.
A little batting ($3.oo in the Sewing Department),the staple gun ($7.oo in the Electronics Department) and good ol' IKEA fabric and wha-la a great new chair! -All wood chairs $5.oo in the warehouse!So, the sneak peek is to peek in the shadows and find the unobvious for the great facelift to do - to fill these long cold winter nights!

We also had great success with our new Economy Shop gallery located in the main hall on the first floor.
