Last call for Homecoming attire! First call for gloves, dare I say we may need them soon? You could just make a fashion statement with these.

We also have a "before listed to ebay" item this week: Its a girl scout/camping favorite. This 8 qt. cast iron lodge is selling for $45.oo and found in the warehouse.

Next Sale: Thursday, September 30th

Our First Night Sale is this Thursday, September 30th from 4 pm - 8 pm

We are ready for Halloween. All the decorations are out, fur in the Sewing Department, costumes, wigs, and wings are in the Children's Department and even a Friendswood Broom retailing 89$ from the Friendswood Shop in Asheville N.C. which can be found in the Basement.

Once you have looked all those places, check in the rest of the rooms. This caught our eye in the Women's Career and Formal Room. It is very lacy and lovey, but an even better costume accessory.

First Saturday Sale

This Saturday, September 11th from 9am -3pm is our first Sat. Sale. The big concern is rain so here is a "sneak peek" on things normally found outside in the yard. There are many varieties of chairs (indoors too) this week and a church bench painted green. So come out rain or shine!

First Fall Sale

Thursday, September 2nd from 9am - 4pm

It's hard to believe, but after almost

completely emptying the Economy Shop of its contents in June, we have

a full house packed with new and fabulous donations! Our volunteers have been working hard,

and sweating a bit, to get everything clean and on the shelves for the sale!

The sewing department is

going to be the hot stop of Thursday's sale! We have hundreds, possibly thousands of vintage buttons. Even if you have never ventured down to the sewing department, you have to see this! (don't sew - think boring sweater needing some pizazz)

One volunteer in the sewing department went above and beyond the call of duty. She casually

offered to sew some of the loose buttons on cards, so they were easier to see.. but this is what she came up with!! Buttons skillfully placed on stamped paper - a work of art!! They would make a great gift card!
